KO TAPU (JAMES BOND ISLAND)

Sightseeing

Ko Tapu has become a famous landmark in Phang Nga Bay, attracting visitors worldwide since it was featured in the James Bond movie The Man with the Golden Gun. Since then, it has been known as the James Bond Island.

This tiny island, with its breathtaking beauty, is a limestone tower jutting 20 metres above sea level. The entire area is now under the protection of the National Park, so  boats can not approach very close to the pinnacle cliffs, and disembarking on Koh Tapu is not allowed. The island is a wonderful example of what nature can create.

Khao Phing Kan is a tropical paradise, with a beautiful white sand beach to the east, crystal clear water, and some small caves inside. The area is a popular destination among tourists for sailing and kayaking.
