The Collector’s Villa
Spacious luxury living
Spacious luxury living
The Collector’s Villa is the most extravagant villa at Iniala. The villa is a compendium of leading contemporary design, with different designers offering complete surprises in each of the rooms, including remarkable work by the Campana Brothers of Brazil. Ceramic adorn the walls and pillars of the public spaces at the heart of the villa, while mother of pearl and bronze shimmer on the walls in the spa and coconut skin covers the walls of the villa’s unique 22-seat private cinema. The bedrooms within the Collector’s Villa are each as individual and eclectic as the artists who have conceived them. Elegant and sunny from Spain’s Jaime Hayon; a symphony of ash wood and stone from Ireland’s Joseph Walsh; and a daring and sensual boudoir from New Zealand’s Mark Brazier-Jones. Each bedroom enjoys a King sized bed and bathrooms with both a shower and a bathtub.
Inspired by Thailand’s lush rainforest, the Cinema of Nature is Iniala Beach House’s one and only cinema. Up to 22 guests can sit comfortably and enjoy an authentic cinematic experience on the 160” screen and be fully immersed into the heart of the action with the latest 3-D technology and state-of-the-art surround sound. With a special green edition of their famous fluffy ‘Cipria’ sofa and walls clad in real coconut skin, the Campana Brothers skilfully embedded an exotic jungle theme into this unique home theatre.
With the walls and ceiling covered in mother of pearl, the Pearl Spa transports guests into the enchanting world that lies inside an oyster. Gold and bronze furniture complement this shimmering space and the floor to ceiling window overlooking the Zen garden creates a tranquil and holistic setting ideal for a pampering session.
Extending their artisanal and ceramic theme into the living room, the Campana brothers covered each gable end wall in thousands of blue and white ceramic plates, cups and bowls. The woven rattan ceiling and the oversized blue sofa are a perfect allusion to the golden sand and azure water that lie directly in front of the room. With fantastic beach and sea views, access to the villa’s very own infinity pool and ample space to lounge around, the room is ideal for relaxation.
Exquisite, sumptuous and sophisticated. The Carpenter’s Chamber is a sublime showcase of Joseph Walsh’s fine craftsmanship.
Carved out of ash wood in the form of a fluid sculpture, the spectacular handmade canopybed serves as the centrepiece of the suite. This highly collectible piece can be ordered but comes with a waiting list of 18 months and a price tag of around $200,000 USD.
More of Walsh’s sumptuous furniture can be found in the suite’s lounge area and office, which are separated from the bedroom by an exquisitely sculpted ‘Equinox’ wall. This dynamic work of art evolves according to the light passing through it and thus can be experienced differently from every angle.
With its stunning beachfront position, this suite wins best view in the Beach House.
Designer Jaime Hayon added a sophisticated touch to a traditional ‘beach house’ look. The simplistic design transmits a peaceful aura, while the white, green and golden colours give the place a bright and airy feel. The spacious bathroom adorned with Carrera marble and a freestanding bathtub add to the overall elegance of the suite.
The suite conveniently leads onto a private terrace with a table, chairs and built-in sun loungers directly on the exquisite Natai Beach.
Awash with silks and crystal, the Boudoir is by far the most surprising and eccentric of all the suites. Mark Brazier-Jones creates a luscious yet playful atmosphere with his extravagant design complete with metallic structures, Swarovski laden side tables and a shimmering drinks trolley in the form of a vintage motorcycle. This dark and mysterious boudoir exudes an aura of sensuality.
